Elbow at Delamere Forest

Posted by admin on Jun 20, 2008 in Lumix DMC-TZ3, Music

I had high hopes for this gig, and I’m afraid it let me down a bit. To start with we were very unprepared, there were people with patio chairs, sleeping bags, boxes of wine, picnic baskets and all sorts. We didn’t have any of those things. Also Elbow themselves didn’t come on until 21:15 and by that time we were cold and a bit fed up. To top things off my camera battery died because i picked up the wrong one :S Consequently i only have a few photos which are here

Renault World Series Silverstone Day 2

Posted by admin on Jun 8, 2008 in Days Out, Lumix DMC-TZ3, Nikon D50, Sport

Day 2… how hot? Saw some good racing today… we watched the Formula Renault 3.5 and the Megane races… the 3.5 was a little uneventful but there was a bit of excitement in the Megane race with a bit of a crash resulting in some front wing track debris. We left before the Clio race to try and get a headstart on the traffic… to find that 45789477 people had the same idea and we were stuck in a car with no air-con in a huge traffic jam and it was 28 degrees at 5pm!! All good though :) Full gallery here

Sunset and Riverdance

Posted by admin on May 13, 2008 in Lumix DMC-TZ3, Random

While out for my evening bike ride i took my compact camera - you never know when you might spot something! Well.. there was an ok sunset brewing so i took a few shots. They’re obviously nowhere near as good as the images the SLR is able to capture, but i didn’t fancy lugging that while getting my daily exercise in! Theres a very small gallery here

“Elephantttttt Mannnnnnnnnnn” Matt Stag Do Magaluf ‘08

Posted by admin on Apr 25, 2008 in Holiday, Lumix DMC-TZ3, Party

So, after a long wait. the stag do weekend arrived. After a small amount of faffing about with our hotel room on Friday night and about 784874 taxis we managed to get onto Pub Golf….however, starting drinking at about 2pm in Matt’s house was not the way to have a successful Pub Golf session, and although we all started strong with a lot of hole-in-ones by the 6th hole we were all a bit wrecked. Saturday was Foam Party @ BCM…."don’t be shy… show us your…." Anyways, I’m proper burnt, and still putting moisturiser on to stop it peeling. There are a LOT of photos here… enjoy.

New Camera!

Posted by admin on Feb 22, 2008 in Lumix DMC-TZ3, Nikon D50, Photography, Random

Lumix!
I have a new compact camera! Decided the Nikon SLR wasn’t enough on its own (its a bit difficult to get into gigs etc), so i got myself a nice Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3. Its 7.2 Megapixels / 3" Screen / 10x Optical Zoom (28-280mm equiv) and a very impressive Optical Image Stablizer. Because of the multiple cameras now, all future posts will be tagged with the camera they were taken with (or both if i used both cameras(!)) More pictures here. I know its a little sad writing a new post just for this camera… but i’ve not posted anything for a few days, and i’m a little bored :)
